After all this the 1987 Acura Legend reminds me of an early 80's third generation BMW 5 series. Maybe the 520i. It would have been nice if Honda kept BMW as their target, but even BMW got off path.

Thanks for the info guys. Found it and got it out. Surprisingly easy to pry it out of the box. Just soldered and put back in. Car started up, so I know I didn't F anything up. Now we just wait to see if I have trouble starting it on a hot day. Thanks again.
For any other noobies (like me) trying to locate it. If you stick your head under the fuse box and look up behind it, you'll see the brown base of the Main Relay.
